CAIRO – 16 August 2017: American romantic comedy/drama movie ‘Lost in Translation’ (2003) will screen at Room Space Art and Café on Sunday, August 20 as part of Room Space Art and Café weekly coffee and movie night.

The August movie nights displayed in Room Art Space Café are inspired by the theme of Americans living in cities other than their own. The events of every movie take place in a different city to describe the effect of the city on the movie characters’ behaviors.

‘Lost in Translation’ takes place in Tokyo, Japan, narrating the story of Bob Harris an old actor who travelled to Tokyo for filming a Japanese Whisky commercial, and Charlotte a young bride. They both yearn to escape from the noisy clamor of Tokyo to a quiet, warm environment.

Directed and written by Sofia Coppola, the film stars Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson. The film has participated in Telluride Film Festival.

‘Lost in Translation’ has also won a number of awards including an Oscar for Most Original Screenplay in 2003, Golden Globes for Best Musical or Comedy Motion Picture, Best Screenplay, and Best Musical or Comedy Actor.
