Ottoman clothing exhibition in Manial Palace

CAIRO -12 August 2017: Walaa Eldin Badawy, manager of Manial Palace and Museum, announced that the museum is currently preparing for exhibition on the Ottoman clothing.

‘’ The museum is carrying out many cultural and artistic activities. There are many workshops for drawing and teaching heritage crafts as well as theatre performances to be presented by the museum staff’’ recounted Badawy.

Badawy added that the coming days will witness the display of a play within the museum about Khedive Ismail.

The Manial Palace and Museum is a palace that dates back to the Ottoman era, and is located on Manial district in Cairo. It was built by Prince Mohammed Ali Tewfik.

The Palace contains a group of manuscripts, carpets, textiles, brass work and crystal. There is a table made of Elephant ears and a 1000-piece Silver service.

This beautiful palace is one of the classiest, most astonishing places you could ever visit.

Full of antiques, there's also a gardens which contains rare plants collected by the prince himself from other countries, and you can have a photo session there.
