The Library, the City Photographic Visions exhibit starts Thursday

CAIRO – 3 August 2017: The Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center (BACC) will be hosting the “The Library...the City: Photographic Visions” Exhibition starting Thursday, August 3, at 3:00 pm.

The exhibition comes as part of celebrations for the 15th anniversary of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, featuring 105 works by 59 photographers. The topic of the exhibition concerns life in Alexandria, particularly in the various different ways the reality there can be portrayed. Some famous locations in Alexandria to simple to overlooked scenes such as fisherman at work, every aspect of life in the historic Egyptian city is documented through the photographer's unique vision.

The exhibition will be open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. until August 26, Saturday; exceptions include Fridays, which are off, and Saturdays/official holidays, where the times are 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
