CAIRO – 20 July 2017: Magnolia cinema will screen the Brand New Testament translated from French to English to film on Monday, 24 July, at 7:00 p.m.

The comedy and fantasy film, directed by Jaco Van Dormael and written by Thomas Gunzig and Jaco Van Dormael, was displayed for the first time in France, Belgium and Luxembourg on September 1, 2015 in French.

Its original name is Le Tout Nouveau Testament performed by superstars Pili Groyne (EA), Benoît Poelvoorde (Dieu) and Catherine Deneuve (Martin).

The film captures the imagination of the audiences when it talks about God living among human beings on Earth in an apartment in Brussels, Belgium, with his wife and daughter. He fulfills his role through his personal computer, but the whole story turned upside down when his daughter thought that her dad was doing a terrible job and decided to rewrite the world and write a brand new testament. Consequently, she entered his office and messed with his computer causing lots of troubles to human beings.

The film has received 16 nominations including one Golden Globe in 2016 and 11 awards including the European Film Awards in 2015.
