CAIRO - 20 July 2017: Egyptian Ministry of Culture announced on Thursday free access to ministry-owned museums nationwide on Sunday July 23, according to the ministry’s released statement.

This comes as part of the nation’s celebrations of the 1952 revolution led by Gamal Abdel Nasser to overthrow the kingdom. The ministry will also organize several artistic and cultural segments through next week at various culture venues across the country.

The Minister of Culture Helmy el-Namnam confirmed that the July 23 revolution is still alive in the hearts of Egyptians who follow its goals and principles including social justice, equality, and freedom, which are the same principals portrayed in the revolutions of 2011 and 2013.
