CAIRO – 18 July 2017: The 39th edition of the Sfax International Festival will take place from July 25 to August 26 in Sfax, Tunisia.
The director of the festival is Lassaad Jamoussi; an actor, known for his role in As I Open My Eyes (2015).
The program has a limited budget, which has prompted Jamoussi to focus on bringing together Arab and Tunisian artists to the festival. Artists such as George Wassouf will be performing at Spax on August 24.
Wassof began his career at the age of 10 and gained a lot of recognition since then. He also gained many awards and he is known for his strong vocals.
Other artists and performances include El Madha on July 25, Le Raade by Cyrine Gannoun on July 26, the Syrian Nour Mhanna on July 27, Houssine Eddik on July 31, Babylon of Algeria on August 1 and What a family! by Sadok Halouas on August 5.
