CAIRO –8 July 2017: Algerian-Egyptian actor, singer and songwriter Ahmed Mekky released a song for the martyrs of the Egyptian Armed Forces on Friday.

His song follows the Friday terrorist attack on a security check point in the North Sinai town of Rafah, where 26 soldiers lost their lives and dozens more were injured.

The song is titled “Nala’y el-Mostaheel” (Face the Impossible). He uploaded the song on his Facebook account and gave his condolences to all the families that lost their loved ones, according to Youm7.



Mekky graduated from the Cinema Institute in Egypt with a degree in directing. After he graduated he started his career by producing short films such as “Yabanee Asly” (An Original Japanese). He also directed “Al-Hassa Al-Sab’a” (The Seventh Sense) in 2005. He also collaborated with his sister, actress Inas Mekky, on several television.
