1% rise in landline phone bills in effect as of July

KAFR EL SHEIKH - 2 July 2017: A well-placed source at the Ministry of Communications and IT said that a 1 percent rise in landline phone bills becomes effective as of July 1.

In statements to MENA on Sunday, the source said the decision comes in light of applying the added value tax law under upon which the added value was upped from 13 percent to 14 percent.
