CAIRO - 26 March 2020: Planning and Economic Development Minister Hala el Saeed said her ministry is in constant contact with investors both at home and abroad to iron out any hurdle facing them and present new ideas that can increase investments in Egypt.

In a statement, the minister said Egypt seeks to improve its business and investment atmosphere through the implementation of its 2030 comprehensive development vision.

Within the vision, Egypt began carrying out economic and legislative reforms and shore up investments in the infrastructure to boost both local and foreign investments, she said.

The statement came following the minister's meeting with chairman of Revival Hotel Services company in the United States Karam Khalil.

Rami Galal, spokesman for the ministry, said the ministry attaches importance to fostering partnership between the private and public sectors, especially in the health and educational sectors.

He added that the ministry set up a unit to be in charge of conducting feasibility studies on the projects in which the public and private sectors can team up.
