BERLIN, June 26 (MENA) - Visiting Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said that the government is ready to implement a plan to upgrade railway tractors and purchase new tractors.

This came during his meeting with Óscar Vázquez, head of the business sector at Bombardier Transportation and Managing Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department at the company .

The meeting was attended by Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr, Transport Minister Kamel el Wazir and Chairman of Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) Abdel Monem el Tarras.

Madbouli said that Bombardier Transportation supplied Egypt with the best rail tractors that are now in service.

He also welcomed the company's readiness to upgrade the old tractors and transfer the technology of manufacturing tractors to Egypt.
