CAIRO - 20 June 2019: A high-profile Egyptian business delegation will visit Berlin next week to discuss with German investors the possibility of injecting further investments into underway projects in the country, said Chairman of the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GACIC) and CEO of Siemens Egypt Emad Ghali.

In press statements on Thursday, Ghali added that the delegation's visit comes as part of the state's efforts to attract new foreign investments and promote the Egyptian business sector.

The delegation, comprising around 40 to 50 representatives from different companies, is expected to hold discussion panels and round-table meetings with members of the the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry and CEOs of German companies.

The GACIC is currently seeking to assist entrepreneurs to understand export laws and trade deals signed between Egypt and African states, Ghali noted.

Asked about the GACIC activities at present time, he said they are working to support the technical education in Egypt, with the aim of filling the gaps in the labor market.
