Abdel Aal urges Chinese businessmen to boost investments in Egypt

CAIRO - 11 November 2018: Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal urged Chinese businessmen to pump more investments into Egypt.

During a meeting Sunday with the chairman of the standing committee of the National People's Congress of Xinjiang, he highlighted the efforts being exerted by the government and the parliament to remove the obstacles facing foreign investors.

Abdel Aal underlined the depth of bilateral ties, underscoring the fruitful cooperation between the Egyptian and Chinese parliaments.

The Chinese official stressed his country's keenness on fostering cooperation with Egypt and injecting more investments into it.

He said Egypt is a powerful regional country and an important strategic partner to China.

He hailed the improvement of the investment climate in Egypt as well as the unprecedented security and stability which Egypt enjoys under the wise political leadership.
