CAIRO - 4 November 2018: The Cairo Chamber of Commerce discussed on Sunday with a delegation representing Fas Meknas Chamber of Trade and Industry promoting bilateral cooperation and setting up more joint investments.

Ali Shoukry, deputy chairman of the Cairo Chamber, said Egypt and Morocco have to benefit from the deeply-rooted relations binding them in increasing the volume of trade exchange.

Egypt has many investment opportunities through which the Moroccan side can pump its money in, he said.

There are also other opportunities for joint investment, he said, urging Moroccan businessmen to benefit from the facilities offered by the Egyptian government to investors.

He said the Cairo chamber will provide Moroccan businessmen with all needed data to invest in the Egyptian market.

Tarek el Sallab, second deputy of the chamber, said the chamber is exerting utmost efforts to iron out all hurdles facing Moroccan investors in Egypt through making necessary contacts with the Egyptian government.

He added that the Egyptian government is keen on improving the investment climate and solving all problems of investors.
