USD exchange rate stable at Egyptian banks Saturday

CAIRO – 27 May 2017: The U.S. dollar exchange rate remained stable against the Egyptian pound in major banks Saturday.

In the banking transactions of the first day of the Holy holy month of Ramadan, the highest buying and selling prices of the U.S.D dollar were recorded in the Commercial International Bank (CIB), standing at LE 18.05 for buying and LE 18.15 for selling.

The dollar rate marked LE 18.02 for buying and LE 18.12 for selling at the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The lowest exchange rate was registered at the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr at LE 17.95 for buying and LE 18.05 for selling.

As for the euro, it stood at LE 20.12 for buying and LE 20.29 for selling, meanwhile, the Great British Pound (GBP) recorded LE. 23.27 for buying and LE .23.45 for selling, according to the data provided by the NBE.

The Arab currencies have also maintained stability against the Egyptian pound. The Saudi riyal marked LE . 4.78 for buying and LE. 4.81 for selling, while the Kuwaiti dinar registered LE. 59.13 for buying and LE. 59.49 for selling.
