Finance Ministry auctions EGP 17.2 bln T-bonds

CAIRO - 7 September 2018: The Finance Ministry auctioned on Thursday treasury bills at a total value of EGP 17.250 billion.

In an online statement, the ministry said it sold EGP 8.5 billion of 182-day T-bills with an average interest rate hitting 19.435%. The yield ranged from 18.501% to 19.501%.

The ministry also sold EGP 8.75 billion of 357-day T-bills that had a coupon of 19.248%. The yield ranged from 18.9% to 19.299%.
