PM: Development projects in 6th of October City cost LE 6.9b

CAIRO - 11 July 2018: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli on Wednesday said that total investments spent by 6th of October City Council on development projects in 2017/2018 fiscal year hit 6.9 billion pounds.

The initial plan in this regard stood at LE 5.7 billion , he said, adding that this means that investments surpassed the planned funding by LE 1.2 billion , according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Housing.

These investments are channeled into projects in the sectors of sanitary drainage, water, roads, electricity, low-cost housing and telecommunication, he added.
