CAIRO - 9 July 2018: Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr reiterated on Monday President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's keenness on developing Sinai.

Nasr, speaking to parliamentary reporters following her meeting with a World Bank mission, said the government seeks to offer soft loans and provide an appropriate atmosphere to set up development projects in Sinai.

Heads of the parliament's committees for economic affairs and tourism and aviation affairs attended the meeting.

Nasr said the meeting aims at listening to the lawmakers' vision towards Sinai development and projects needed by Sinai residents.

The WB mission will work for providing necessary financial resources, mostly in form of grants, to develop Sinai, she added.

She said the mission held a meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madboli on Sinai development.
