CAIRO - 9 July 2018: Finance Minister Mohamed Ma'it has praised the services offered by the Ministry of Investment Investor Service Center (MIIC) that ease measures needed by investors to establish their businesses.

The remarks were made during the minister's tour at the MIIC accompanied by Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr, Deputy Finance Minister for Financial Policies Ahmed Kujac, Assistant Finance Minister for Technological Affairs Khaled Nassef and a galaxy of officials at the Investment Ministry and the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI).

The minister asked the representatives of the Finance Ministry at MIIC about the work procession, urging them to remove any impediments facing investors immediately without resorting to any bureaucratic measures.

Nasr, for her part, thanked the finance minister over the cooperation of the Finance Ministry officials in easing all measures before investors and quickly accomplishing their papers.

MIIC groups representatives from 66 bodies, including four affiliated to the Finance Ministry (Customs Authority, Company Taxes, VAT and Investment Taxes) and its mission is to grant approvals to investors and their mechanized tax cards as well as responding to the queries of investors.

As many as 4,452 tax cards have been issued by MIIC for newly established companies according to the investment and company laws since President Abdel Fattah El Sisi ordered its establishment in February.
