CAIRO - 3 July 2018: Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr had talks on Tuesday with Sudanese Minister of International Cooperation Idris Sulayman Yusuf on means of boosting bilateral cooperation in the coming period.

Nasr urged Sudanese investors to do business in Egypt, especially as Egyptian government offers a package of incentives for investors, particularly in Upper Egypt and Sinai.

Nasr reviewed the unprecedented measures adopted by Egypt to achieve economic reform and improve the investment climate in order to boost investment in various domains.

Nasr said she is looking forward to augmenting Sudanese investments in Egypt in view of the outstanding economic ties binding the two countries.

She said the Sudanese investments in Egypt stood at dlrs 95.1 million.

Meanwhile, the Sudanese minister invited Nasr to visit Sudan to further cooperation and the Egyptian minister expressed gratitude for the invitation.

He underlined the importance of developing economic and investment cooperation between the two countries and luring Sudanese investors to inject more investments into Egypt.
