PARIS - 27 June 2018: Investment Minister Sahar Nasr signed on Tuesday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Mediterranean World Economic Foresight Institute (L’Institut de Prospective Economique du Monde Méditerranéen - IPEMED).

The announcement comes as Nasr participates here in an economic forum on the future of economic relations between Egypt and France.

The three-year MoU, of which MENA obtained a copy, is meant to boost cooperation and business relations between the two parties.

Upon the agreement, the two sides will work on developing bilateral cooperation in the fields of common concern through making good use of strategic studies of Euro-Mediterranean entities in the areas of manufacturing, transport, water and energy.

The MOU aims at raising awareness on available economic opportunities in the southern and eastern Mediterranean countries, in addition to shedding light on the importance of promoting integration among Europe, the Mediterranean region and Africa.
