CAIRO - 2 June 2018: Egypt's Exchange achieved record gains during the first term of office of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi as the market capital gained EGP 470 billion on Thursday to reach EGP 930 billion, up by 102 percent compared to EGP 460 billion in June of 2014.

This is the biggest ever gains achieved by the bourse in any period with expectations that new records will be achieved during the second term of President Sisi.

The EGX 30 benchmark index also hit a record during Sisi's first term as it recorded 16,414 points for the first time in the bourse's history.
