CAIRO, 26 April 2018: Petroleum Minister Tarek el-Molla on Thursday discussed at a meeting with CEO of British Petroleum (BP)'s Supply and Trading Business Alan Haywood the possibility for expanding the company’s activities in ship refueling and oil refinery operations to benefit from refined oil products.

Also, Molla and Haywood probed means of boosting bilateral cooperation with regard to establishing spaces for storing oil products.

The meeting came as part of talks that kicked off in February in London to follow up underway efforts and steps to turn Egypt into a regional energy hub, the minister added.

The BP has a strong drive to enter into new partnerships in the area of oil and gas exploration, Molla said.

The Petroleum Ministry agreed with BP officials to form a joint working group to review the different aspects of cooperation, he stressed.
