CAIRO 29 March 2018: The Finance Ministry plans to issue treasury bonds worth LE 438.750 billion during the fourth quarter (April-June) of the current fiscal year 2017/2018.
In a statement on Thursday, the ministry said it will sell 91-day, 182-day, 273-day and 364-day T-bills at LE 97.250, LE 97.250, LE 100.250, LE 106.5 billion respectively.
It also said that it will issue three-year bonds (maturing in March 2021) at 8.750 billion pounds and will issue three-year bonds (maturing in June 2021) at 3.5 billion pounds.
The ministry said it will issue five-year bonds (maturing in April 2023) at 9 billion pounds and seven-year bonds (maturing in February 2025) at 8.750 billion pounds.
The ministry further underlined that it will issue 10-year bonds (maturing November 2027) worth 2.5 billion pounds and 10-year bonds (maturing May 2028) at five billion pounds.
The Central Bank of Egypt auctions T-bonds on behalf of the Finance Ministry.
