CAIRO - 16 February 2018: Singapore's Ambassador in Cairo Premjith Sadasivan said Thursday that Egypt is moving in the right direction at the economic level.

In an interview with Egyptian Al Akhbar newspaper, Sadasivan explained that Egypt's foreign policy is rationale and moderate and aims to achieve stability and peace.

He underlined that Al Azhar is the only religious institute that fights extremist ideology in the world.

In addition, he underscored the importance of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's visit to Singapore in September 2015.

Sadasivan pointed out that Sisi discussed with his Singaporese counterpart boosting relations and opening new prospects of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the development of the Suez Canal economic zone, water desalination and education.
