CAIRO- 23 April 2017: Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi will participate in the National Youth Conference in Ismailia city from April 25-27 in conjunction with the celebration of Sinai Liberation Day.

The three-day gathering brings together 1,200 young people from different governorates to discuss a variety of topics, in the presence of a number of MPs and ministers.

‘’President Sisi stressed enhancing efforts to improve the youth and sports sector in Egypt, praising the achievements made over the past years to improve the sector’’ as stated by the presidency.

The conference will tackle challenges facing Egyptian citizens such as price surges, and also the state’s efforts to improve health care and social and political empowerment among young people.

Youth representatives will also get their chance to share views on the reform of Egypt's higher education system, scientific research and links between the education system and the job market.
