CAIRO – 26 December 2017: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended its transactions Tuesday in mixed performance, with benchmark EGX30 going up 0.54 percent to stand at 14,923 points.

The small and mid-cap index EGX70 decreased 0.18 percent to end at 826.44 points while the broader index EGX100 leveled up 0.31 percent to close at 1961.75 points.

Market capitalization gained LE 3.53 billion as it recorded LE 806.976 billion, up from LE 803.445 billion at the end of transactions on Monday.

Egyptian organizations were net sellers at LE 80.8 million while Egyptian individuals, Arab individuals and foreign individuals as well as Arab and foreign institutions were net buyers at LE 45.8 million, LE 1.8 million, LE 4 million, LE 921,000 and LE 28.1 million respectively.

Shares of 76 companies recorded increases, while 83 others saw declines, and shares of 26 firms remained unchanged.
