CAIRO – 20 December 2017: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended its transactions Wednesday in mixed note, with benchmark index EGX30 being the only index that went up 0.03 percent to stand at 14,682 points.

The small and mid-cap index EGX70 decreased 1.15 percent to end at 830 points and the broader index EGX100 also leveled down 0.76 percent to close at 1,947 points.

Market capitalization lost LE 5.6 billion as it recorded LE 821.845 billion, up from LE 827.49 billion at the end of transactions on Tuesday.

Arab individuals and Egyptian organizations were net sellers at LE 10.3 million and LE 93.6 million, while Egyptian and foreign individuals as well as Arab and foreign institutions were net buyers at LE 37.3 million, LE 4.97 million, LE 1.8 million and LE 59.9 million.

Shares of 44 companies recorded increases, while 117 others saw declines, while, shares of 19 firms remained unchanged.
