CAIRO – 10 December 2017: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended its transactions Sunday in green after four consecutive day of closing in red last week due to profit making.

Benchmark index EGX30 went up 0.84 percent to stand at 14,414 points. The small and mid-cap index EGX70 increased 1.28 percent to end at 777.35 points and the broader index EGX100 leveled up 1.26 percent to close at 1,833 points.

Market capitalization hiked LE 6.9 billion as it recorded LE 795.702 billion, up from LE 788.706 billion at the end of transactions Thursday.

As for the nationalities of transactions, Egyptian and foreign individuals were net sellers at LE 636.2 million and LE 6.3 million, meanwhile, Arab individuals as well as Egyptian, Arab and foreign institutions were net buyers at LE 124.1 million, LE 154.4 million, LE 235.9 million and LE 128.1 million respectively.

Shares of 124 companies recorded increases, while 31 others saw declines, while, shares of 26 firms remained unchanged.
