CAIRO – 6 March 2017: Minister of Investments and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr witnessed the signing of four cooperation protocols on Sunday aiming at facilitating procedures for investors, according to a press release by the ministry.

The protocols were signed by representatives of the General Authority for Investment (GAFI), Financial Control, the lawyers syndicate, the Chamber of Commerce and the Bank of Alexandria.

“These protocols aim at improving the environment and climate for investment in Egypt,” Nasr said, “by advancing the mechanisms to finalize services, expanding cooperation in terms of information exchange, and shifting to electronic systems for payment and signatures.”

Nasr stressed the ministry’s determination to facilitate procedures and deliver the best services to investors through protocols with different entities, the press release stated.

She also referred to small and medium businesses as a priority for the ministry, in order to provide job opportunities for youth and women.
