Sisi reviews Schneider Electric’s activities in Egypt with company’s CEO

CAIRO – 23 November 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi reviewed Thursday with Chairman and CEO of Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management and automation, Jean-Pascal Tricoio, the company’s activity in Egypt, presidential spokesperson Bassem Rady said.

They reviewed the company's activity in the fields of energy, renewable energy, infrastructure and information networks in the country.The meeting was attended by Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker and Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority Mohammed Irfan.

Sisi welcomed cooperation with Schneider Electric in light of the government's approach to implement major projects. He said that the state is building 12 new cities, including the administrative capital, with the aim of creating a new generation of modern cities.

Tricoio stressed the company's keenness to double its investments in Egypt, praising the achievements realized during a record period in various economic projects in Egypt, which is currently the third largest global market for Schneider, after the US and China.
