CAIRO - 22 November 2017: Military Production Minister Mohamed Saeed al-Assar met with India’s Ambassador to Egypt Sanjay Bhattacharyya and a delegation of Indian businessmen on Wednesday to discuss ways of cooperation between Egypt’s military production companies and Indian companies.

Assar reviewed during the meeting the different industrial fields in which Egypt and India can cooperate, inviting the Indian delegation to visit the National Organization for Military Production to see its technical and technological capacities.

He also said that an Egyptian technical delegation will be sent to India to identify fields of potential cooperation. Bhattacharyya expressed the willingness of Indian businessmen to invest in cooperation with the military production companies.

He added that India has many investments in Port Said and that it looks forward to increase fields of cooperation with military production companies due to its expertise in various fields of manufacturing.

During the meeting, the Indian businessmen reviewed the fields in which India and Egypt can cooperate, including central cooling systems and machines manufacturing.
