Electricity Minister meets European Investment Bank rep.

CAIRO - 14 September 2017: Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker met with European Investment Bank's newly-appointed Regional Representative of the Middle East Flavia Planza on Thursday to discuss means to encourage cooperation between the ministry and the bank.

During the meeting, Shaker demonstrated the projects carried out by the ministry and efforts made to satisfy the growing power demand in Egypt.

On her part, Planza expressed her keenness to further promote cooperation between Cairo and the European Investment Bank.
