On the sidelines of the exhibition, Egypt will hold a conference to promote investment and trade between Cairo and Beijing, Kabil added.

After that, Kabil will meet representatives of the Chinese government to discuss bilateral trade and increasing Chinese projects in Egypt.

The Minister will negotiate with China Development Bank possibilities of funding Chinese projects in Egypt, especially in fields of transport, electricity, New Administrative Capital and Suez Canal Development Axis.

Sisi headed to China Sunday to take part in the BRICS summit upon an invitation by President Xi.

The five nations have a combined nominal GDP of $16.6 trillion, equivalent to approximately 22 percent of the gross world product, combined GDP of around $37 trillion and an estimated $4 trillion in combined foreign reserves.
