CAIRO – 24 August 2017: The U.S. dollar exchange rate declined against the Egyptian pound in Thursday’s morning banking transactions.

The exchange rate of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) for the U.S. dollar recorded LE 17.68 for buying and LE 17.78 for selling, down from LE 17.70 for buying and LE 17.80 for selling on Wednesday.

The euro exchange rate rebounded to LE 20.86 for buying and LE 20.98 for selling, up from LE 20.82 for buying and LE 20.94 for selling, down in Wednesday transactions.

Meanwhile, the GBP (British Pound) fell to LE 22.65 for buying and LE 22.78 for selling, compared to LE 22.71 for buying and LE 22.84 for selling in the prior day.

As for the Arab currencies, the Saudi Riyal stabilized at LE 4.7160 for buying and LE 4.742 for selling, according to the CBE.

The Kuwaiti dinar recorded LE 58.54 for buying and LE 58.94 for selling and the Emirati Dirham registered LE 4.81 for selling and LE 4.842 for buying.
