CAIRO – 1 August 2017: Sixth of October Development and Investment Company (Sodic) and Vodafone Egypt signed a partnership agreement to launch new service ‘Sodic GoSmart’ powered by ‘Vodafone Ready Compound,’ a Tuesday statement said.

The deal aims to develop the real estate market in Egypt through activating mobile technology and internet application role as a part of an integrated system for the services solutions.

Under the agreement, Vodafone will offer several services for the subscribers, including high-speed internet, security camera and advanced smart home automation.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Managing Director of Sodic Magued Sherif and CEO of Vodafone Egypt Stefano Gastaut, the statement added.

"We always adapt to the ever-evolving market needs, by offering advanced telecommunication solutions to serve our customer in the best way possible," said Gestaut.

Stefano added that the real estate and construction market is one of the most competitive economic sectors in Egypt, as it contributed to 10.5 percent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), up from 9 percent in 2013, while the Egyptian developers deliver around 10,000-15,000 units per year.

Vodafone Ready Compound is part of Vodafone’s ‘Ready Business’ services; which offers integrated solutions that enable companies to develop their business through innovative services that provide world-class experience using Information Technology and Internet of Things, according to the statemen.
