CAIRO – 26 July 2017: Euromoney Conferences will return to Egypt September 18 and 19 for its 22nd round, with a focus on business sectors and opportunities after the steps taken towards economic reform.

“Egypt is investible again,” according to what Euromoney Conferences said on its website when it announced the date of the new round for Cairo in 2017.

Keynote speakers include Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr, Minister of Finance Amr El-Garhy and Minister of Industry Tarek Kabil.

International speakers include chairman of the Egyptian-American Enterprise Fund James Harmon, Middle East and North Africa director of the International Financial Corporation (IFC) and president of the African Import and Export Bank (Afreximbank) Benedict Oramah.

“Challenges remain but the bold resolution of the currency crisis in 2016 has led not only to an upsurge of interest from equity investors but a triumphant return to the debt markets,” the world’s leading organizer of conferences said.

The conference, which started taking place in Cairo since 1995, will tackle direct investment in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and the real estate sectors, international public offerings (IPOs), equity markets and debt issuance at sovereign and corporate levels.
