CAIRO - 18 July 2017: Security forces managed to return the stolen amount of LE 900,000 ($ 50,140) from the Egyptian Exchange Co., according to a Ministry of Interior statement on Tuesday.

This came after security forces had arrested the defendant.

Earlier this month, a gunman stole LE900, 000, according to Mohamed al-Eterby, head of Banque Misr.

This is not the first bank robbery incident. Earlier in March last year, unidentified individuals had stolen from the Development Bank located in the Abu Hammad Center in Sharqiya. They also killed the man who was responsible for securing the bank when he resisted them.
