CAIRO – 11 July 2017: The Suez Canal Economic Zone has settled 15 investments disputes, Chairman Mohab Mamish announced Monday, adding that five more disputes will be settled and new contracts with reconciled investors will be signed next week.

Suez Canal Economic Zone is also working on attracting new investments and considering a lot of investment requests, Mamish added.

Mamish pointed to a cooperation with the Minister of Investment Sahar Nasr to raise the rank of the zone through the New Investment Law to be one of the biggest seven economic zones around the world.

Dividing the Suez Canal zone into two parts, northern and southern, helped in accelerating the pace of work and providing new maritime and investment services, Mamish noted.
