CAIRO – 9 July 2017: Purchases by non-Arab investors at the Egyptian exchange recorded LE 7.15 billion ($ 40 million) since the start of 2017 to June, with a net value of LE 68.96 million ($ 3.86 million), the monthly report of the exchange said Saturday.

During last week’s transactions, non-Arabs recorded LE 239.4 million in purchases, while Arabs registered LE 60.79 million.

Egyptian transactions dominated 74.64 percent of the total market transactions, with non-Arabs acquiring 15.58 percent and 9.7 percent for Arabs, according to the same report.

Corporations and other institutions were responsible for 43.95 percent of transactions, while individuals got the majority at 56.05 percent.
