Former Qatari emir “conspired against Saudi Arabia”

CAIRO – 19 June 2017: “Qatar ran many conspiracies and schemes against its neighbors, most notably Saudi Arabia, over the last few decades, but it has showed its evil intentions to destroy, corrupt and assassinate Saudi Arabian figures in favor of an Iranian domination scheme,” Qatari Leaks website reported on Monday.

Hamad bin Khalifa, former Emir of Qatar, and Libya’s late leader Muammar Gaddafi criticized Saudi Arabia and the royal family in Riyadh in a phone conversation recently revealed by Qatari Leaks.

The leaked phone conversation showed Khalifa’s “rage at Saudi Arabia.” He said that he believed Saudi rule should not remain stable, that it must fall down. “If the Americans won in invading Iraq, the next step will be in Saudi Arabia,” Hamad said in the leaked conversation.

According to the leaked conversation, Khalifa insulted Egypt and Jordan, describing them as having “no dignity.” “This phone conversation showed the evil intentions of Doha against its Arab brothers throughout past decades and its sincere endeavors to tear apart the Arab fabric in favor of the Zionist entity,” claimed Qatari Leaks.

Khalifa backed many satellite channels to attack Saudi Arabia, supported London-based Saudi dissident Saad al-Faqih and funded many opposition movements to destabilize the Saudi interior security order, Qatari Leaks said.

Arab media circulated news about a Qatari-Libyan plot to assassinate late Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdel Aziz in 2003.
