CAIRO, Nov 17 (MENA) – Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli has underlined the importance of transferring technology of tablets to Egypt, particularly under the tablet-based new educational system.

He made his statements on Saturday in a meeting held to follow up efforts to transfer that technology in the presence of Education Minister Tarek Shawqi, Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Communications Minister Amr Talaat and officials of some bodies concerned, among others.

Madbouli directed the ministers of education and military production to submit a joint memo to the cabinet on the results of negations with major global companies to start manufacturing tablets in Egypt.

Cabinet Spokesman Nadr Saad said the meeting touched upon the applying electronic system for exams in Egyptian universities within two years.
