CAIRO – 10 September 2019: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly arrived on Wednesday in the Egyptian Parliament where he met with Ali Abdel Aal, Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry and Minister of Agriculture Ezz Eddin Abo Stait also arrived in the Parliament and met with Abdel Aal, as parliament members are expected to witness an important government statement.

Yesterday, the Parliament listened to a statement by Madbouly, in which he presented the government report entitled “Egypt is going on, work continues” that included briefs about the economic situation and efforts by the government organs in reforming the structure of Egypt’s economy and preserving the Egyptian social life.

Abdel Aal said, at the conclusion of the plenary session of the House of Representatives yesterday, he will complete listening to the words of deputies and discussions after the end of today’s government statement.

Abdel Aal also said ministers of foreign affairs and water resources, in addition to the prime minister, will be delivering a very important government statement.
