CAIRO, June 22 (MENA) – The Arab finance ministers will hold an emergency meeting on Sunday at the headquarters of the Arab League (AL) in Cairo to probe means of establishing a financial safety network and supporting the Palestinian Authority’s budget in light of the difficult conditions it endures.

Tunisia will chair the meeting, during which AL Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit will deliver a speech. The Tunisian and Palestinian finance ministers will also give speeches during the event.

In press statements, Assistant Secretary General of the AL Hossam Zaki said the AL chief called for the emergency meeting for coordinating with the Palestinian side to provide it with a financial safety network.
