CAIRO - 20 June 2019: The Coordination Committee of Party's Youth Leaders and Politicians (CPYP) released a statement rejecting "irresponsible" remarks by Turkish President Ragab Tayyip Erdoğan against the Egyptian regime, in comments on the death of the ousted president Mohamed Morsi.

Morsi died from heart attack on Monday during his trial, where he fainted inside the dock, and was announced dead shortly.

The CPYP statement described Erdoğan's comments as blatant and unacceptable interference in the Egyptian internal affairs from a regime "supporting violence and terrorism, and tries to mislead the Turkish citizens and hide behind Pseudo-democracy that has proved to the world that it is fake and untrue and always being violated."

The CPYP confirms the respect for the sovereignty of states as the principle of states that respect the right of people.

"The Egyptian people who have rebelled against the rule of the terrorist group (Muslim Brotherhood) rejects the attempts of guardianship by the forces of terrorism that finance it [terrorism] and propagate lies about Egypt and Egyptians," said CPYP statement.

The CPYP emphasizes that the continuation of the hostile approach of Erdogan regime towards Egypt and Egyptians is "a wrong bet and a cheap trade that will not be accepted by the Egyptians and that Egypt always pursues a policy of respect for the will and sovereignty of people."

"Egypt is a country that understands its responsibilities towards the right of people and affirms its respect for the Turkish citizens whom are not respected by Erdogan," the statement continues.

He is using Turkey as a shelter for terrorists and risks the stability of his people and their future to response to a terrorist group over the Turkish people
