CAIRO – 19 September 2018: A lawsuit was filed Tuesday in demand of the termination of all Muslim Brotherhood members from any job in the administrative body of the state.

Lawyer of the Cassation Court Tarek Mahmoud said that Prime Minister Hesham Qandil of the Muslim Brotherhood regime issued several decrees to give the members of the Islamist group access to leading positions at different ministries and government organizations.

He claimed that the majority of such people were appointed illegally, only to control the administrative skeleton of the state at ministries like the Education, Transport, Higher Education, and at town councils.

Their sole goal, according to Mahmoud, is to make state policies, which aim to facilitate daily procedures of citizens, futile so as to create a gap between Egyptians and the authorities.

The lawyer added that the Islamists who were appointed in such way still occupy their positions although they belong to a terrorist organization per a judicial decree.
Mahmoud demanded the Interior Ministry to embark on a database, along with the Central Agency for Organization and Administration, for all state personnel to dismiss those who are proved to be members of the “terrorist” group.
