As Monday marks the 66th anniversary of July 23 Revolution that ended the monarchy in 1952, President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi praised during the graduation ceremony of military academies the historic event in ending the foreign control, and recovering the Egyptian's rule of themselves.

He added that the revolution changed the power balance worldwide, and established social justice greeting late presidents Gamal Abdel Naser, Anwar Al Sadat, and Mohamed Naguib.

Sisi stressed the Egyptian people for their high sense of belonging, and perseverance amid attempts to crumble the Arab states. He warned against false news clarifying that more than 21,000 rumors have been propagated over a period of three month. The president also asked people to be cautious of calls that inherently aim at the collapse of the Egyptian state.

The president explained that the authorities had to confront people with the roots of different problems so they would understand the reforms and measures targeting development.

Sisi stipulated that the relationship between the people and the army will remain at a high level of respect and strength.

The president addressed the graduates indicating the importance of frequently developing their skills. He indicated his confidence that all social segments of the people would work hard to boost Egypt's potential in all fields.

Sisi attended on Sunday the graduation ceremony of military academies at the headquarters of the Egyptian Military Academy in Cairo. The graduates were students at the Military Academy, the Air Academy, the Naval Academy, the Military Technical College, and the Technical Institute for Military Forces.
