Minister of Industry and Trade Tarek Kabil meets Cameroonian counterpart Hernest Ngoua Boubou

CAIRO – 20 April 2017: Minister of Industry and Trade Tarek Kabil held a joint ministerial meeting with his Cameroonian counterpart, Hernest Ngoua Boubou, to discuss ways to enhance potential cooperation between Egypt and Cameroon in matters of infrastructure, food industry, along with other economics issues of common concern.

Kabil stressed the government’s keenness to boost economic cooperation with African countries, as well as its exports to African markets that reveal a major interest in Egyptian products.

During the meeting, the minister pointed out that the government exerts unremitting efforts to promote the logistics transportation system with African countries.

Also, both tackled the importance of having common position towards negotiations regarding the establishment of a continental free trade zone.
