They also focused on the upcoming meeting of the Arab Foreign Ministries at the Arab League, set to take place in February.

Abu Zeid also remarked that they stressed on the importance of enhancing coordination and consultations between Egypt and Jordan for further development in the region and for preserving Arab national security and solidarity in the face of various challenges.

The meeting tackled efforts to coordinate the delivery of humanitarian assistance to Yemen.

It also mirrored the Egyptian government and people's solidarity with the Yemeni people in times of need and their support of the Yemeni government until it regains full control over Yemeni territories.

Shoukry made clear that Egypt has previously dispatched humanitarian assistance to Yemen that was delivered through King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and is about to send a new package of assistance.
