CAIRO – 4 January 2018: A new book by Canadian Thomas Quiggin, Egyptian Saied Shoaaib, Pakistani Tahir Gora, along with the Americans Jonathon Cotler and Rick Gill, titled: “The Danger of Political Islam to Canada: (With a Warning to America)” reveals for the first time how the ideology of political Islam threatens countries and governments around the world, especially Canada.

Using historical examples and quotes of the well-known history of the Muslim Brotherhood group, the five authors explain how the current policy of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will jeopardize his country as a result of adapting and welcoming all Islamist and religious political currents.

Egyptian Saied Shoaaib highlights in his review of the book a quote by the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood group, Hassan al-Banna, which states, “It is the nature of Islam to dominate, not be dominated.” This quote became a clear guideline for the founders and members of political Islamist groups including Abul Ala Maududi, the founder of the “al-Jama'a al-Islamiyya” or The Islamic Group, which is considered the second biggest political Islam group after the Muslim Brotherhood.

According to Shoaaib, Banna believed that “the role of Islam is to destroy all states and governments, anywhere on the face of the earth, which oppose the ideology of Islam.”

“Violent and non-violent Islamist ideology is destroying Canada’s social fabric and freedoms. Terrorism is but one tactic of this ideology. It remains important to defeat terrorists. But, the reality is that the multi-faceted invasive Islamist ideology is an existential threat to Canada,” Shoaaib says.

He stated that this is the first book published in Canada which exposes this ideology and the leading Islamist front groups. He also added that the problem is acute as a result of some of the Canadian politicians’ tendency to adopt a policy of appeasement and submission to the Islamist threat.

The last chapter of the book titled, “A Warning to America”, examines how Trudeau is endangering both the United States and Canada with his submission to the Islamist cause.

According to the book, Islamists are trying to silence free speech by using false charges of Islamophobia. “This is just for one reason: their ideology is so abhorrent, and their practices so barbaric that anyone who attempts to expose and discuss their work must be stopped,” Shoaaib says.

The book includes an in-depth analysis of the leading Islamist groups in Canada, their connections to terrorism funding and their policies of violent abuse of women and girls. It also includes a warning of the growing threat of radical Islamic beliefs in Canada which will lead to more conflicts in other countries including France, Belgium, and the United Kingdom.

Egyptian Saied Shoaaib previously conducted an interview with the seventh General Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood, Mohammed Mahdi Akef, in which he said in Arabic slang "to hell with Egypt”.
