CAIRO – 8 October 2017: The construction of the new headquarters of the House of Representatives in the New Administrative Capital will be complete by March 2019, the deputy parliamentarian Yousry al-Moghazy said on Sunday.

Moghazy pointed out that the opening celebration of Al-Masah Capital Hotel on Friday at the New Administrative Capital is considered a strong proof to investors that Egypt is able to establish the New Capital at a specific time as long as there is will.

The Housing, Public Utilities and Reconstruction Committee will pay a visit to the New Administrative Capital during the upcoming days to follow the progress of the new institutions’ building process, Moghazy said.

He added that a number of deputies in the Committee will participate in President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi’s visit next Tuesday.

The New Administrative Capital is planned to include 21 residential districts, educational institutions, hospitals, 40,000 hotel rooms, a theme park, solar plants and a new international airport.

Land plots in the new capital have already been launched for investors and developers, who are interested in participating in the mega project.

Participating developers until now are the Arab Contractors Company, Concord for Engineering and Contracting Company, and Talaat Moustafa Group Holding Company.
